Cindy and I went back to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tennessee last week. We drove up through the mountains of North Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and finally Tennessee. It was a beautiful drive up.

After months of paying in the high $3 range and even over $4 per gallon, today the price for regular unleaded dropped to under $2. This morning the price at Sam’s Club in McDonough was $1.979 per gallon. Hooray!

Last weekend Cindy and I went to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. While we were there we went over to the Smoky Mountain National Forest. There’s a nice part of the park there called Cade’s Cove.

The City of McDonough is decorating the square for Christmas today. They have some beautiful flying reindeer this year. The tree is huge and the wreaths on the courthouse are fantastic. Click here for all the pictures.
